How to use this calculator
Enter a rate that already matches the metal and purity you want to price. Choose making charges as a percentage of metal value or rupees per gram, then enter the tax rate.
How the estimate is calculated
Metal value equals weight × rate. The selected making charge is added to that value, then tax is applied to their combined modelled amount.
Assumptions and exclusions
No live gold, silver or palladium price is fetched. The rate must already reflect purity; it is not adjusted again. Wastage, stones, hallmark fees, discounts and shop-specific charges are excluded.
